About - Ashanti Wine & Country Estate
Ashanti Wine & Country Estate is nestled in the picturesque valley beneath the peaks of the Klein Drakenstein mountain range in Paarl.
The Estate hosting the Restaurant and the Cellar was purchased in July by a group of Investors from Namibia. The group has plans to re-activate the winery and to offer Wine and Olive Tasting from the tasting room soon.
Our logo, the “Chiwara” an ancient symbol, represents the annual regeneration of life when the elements of sun, air, rain and the African soil are in perfect harmony with one another.
Ashanti is a welcome stop for tour groups as well as individuals travelling along the wine route also known as the “Red Route”.
